Teaching AI
Using AI is a bit like speaking a foreign language. Some people pick it up naturally, and others feel an invisible barrier they are hesitant to cross. In reality, this barrier is very thin! I teach women business owners how to use AI in their day-to-day work, without needing a technical background.

Why I teach women business owners
I've worked in AI for over 25 years, and I've never seen it as useful or as accessible as it is now. I've also never seen so many capable people unsure where to start, what to trust, or whether it's worth their time.
I know what it's like to be one of the few women in a technical room. I want women who run businesses to have the practical skills and the confidence to use AI on their own terms, without needing a technical background.
I've taught AI before
Teaching is not new for me. I taught at the University of Waikato early in my career, gave a hands-on lecture for academyEX, and this year ran a webinar for the Women in CX community. Another is coming up for TAG CX.
I also do one-on-one sessions with people I work with closely.
What I teach
- How AI tools work in plain language, what they are good at and where they go wrong
- Using AI for the everyday writing, planning and research that eats a business owner's week
- Checking AI's output, protecting your customers' and your own data, and knowing when not to use it
